James F. Emling

January 21, 1929 - July 31, 2016

James F. Emling, age 87, of Brunswick, OH passed away peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2016. He was born January 21, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Mary (nee Manning) Emling. Jim has resided in Brunswick since 1959. Jim was a 60 year member of the Plumberís Union Local #55. He had worked for Mielke Plumbing & Heating; Mauhr Brothers Plumbing & Heating, Spohn Plumbing & Heating and lastly retired from the Brunswick School System. He was a member of St. Martin of Tours Church and he had served as Vice President of the Northern Ohio Antique & Classic Car Club. Jim was a United States Navy veteran, serving from 1951 to 1955 as a maintenance mechanic. Jim will be greatly missed by his daughter- Colene Conley, of York Township and grandchildren- Erin (Christopher) Millhorn of Medina Township, Quinn (Christina) Conley of York Township and Shioban Conley of Gulf Shores, AL. Great grandchildren-Lindsay, Leann & Lauren Millhorn and Kate and Quinn Conley. Son-in-law: Dale Conley and Dear friend- Eileen Ondrejech Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife- Dorothy (nee Farrell) and siblings- John, William, Edward and Louise Emling and Mary Fran Beaudion. Family and friends are invited to the Gathering area of St. Martin of Tours 1800 Station Road Valley City, Friday, August 5, 2016 from 9:00 -11:00 AM. Jimís Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in St. Martinís Chapel. Burial- St. Martin Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Martin of Tours.
