Understanding When Needed Most
James Stephen Leetch, Sr. 77 of Medina, OH passed away peacefully with his wife and son at his side on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. James was born November 7, 1939 in Cleveland, OH to the late James Henry and Opal Pearl (nee Scott) Leetch. He had resided in Wadsworth for 40 years prior to moving to Medina in 2015. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. James had worked as an ornamental welder with Denby Wire Iron in Cleveland for 25 years. He was employed at the Rittman Paper Board for several years. James was a very gifted craftsman with a talent of just seeing an item of interest and making it from scratch. Whether it was woodworking and metal he has many items that are great treasures to remember him. He is survived by his precious, beloved wife- Elaine, married 51 years, his adored son and best buddy, James, Jr. Dear brother of Doris McManus, Anna (Jerry) Cox and Lela Pettrey. Brother-in-law of Eugene Jones. Very close niece- Tina. Many more nieces and nephews. A longtime friend- Steve Kollins and his four-legged buddies-Maxine and Molly. Preceded in death by his sisters- Katy, Winnie, Shirley, Alice, Joyce and Nancy. At Jamesís request, cremation will take place. At a later date his cremates will be buried at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio The Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio has the honor of serving the Leetch family.
