Roy K. “Skip” Cunningham, III, age 59, of Brunswick, OH passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Weds. March 29, 2017.
He was born in Cleveland, OH on August 1, 1957 to the late Roy Jr. and Helen Nadine (nee Hoffman) Cunningham. He grew up in Litchfield or York Township. He has been a resident of Medina County for most of his life. Skip was a 1976 graduate of Buckeye High School, where he had been a member of the Future Farmers of America.
Skip was an auto body mechanic and enjoyed restoring vehicles, especially an old Chevelle car with his son. His garage was a great hangout for his buddies to gather and work on cars and trucks.
Skip had several hobbies that he loved to do with family and friends, camping at Willowood Lakes and fishing.
Skip will be greatly missed by his devoted children- Jacob Cunningham, Brunswick, Jackie (Brian) Gill of Wadsworth and Rachel Nyquist (Jeremiah), of Brunswick. Cherished grandchildren- Izzy Cunningham, Sydney and Cole Points, Megan and Christopher Gill, Mya Nyquist, Sklyer and Aubrey Edgar. Mother of his children- Mary Hahn. Dear brother of Jim Cunningham, of Parma, Ruth Sargent of NC and Marti Lance of Rittman. Beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews. Precious canine and best friend-Buddy.
