William G. Dangelo

William G., Dangelo, 74, of Valley City, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Saturday, July 15, 2017. Bill was born January 12, 1943 in Lodi, OH to the late William L. and Ruby (nee Funk) Dangelo. He has been a lifelong resident of Medina County. Bill was an Army veteran serving 3 years. He was a member of the Valley City VFW Post #5563. He had worked at Larson Foundry in Grafton for 4 years prior to his employment with General Motors, Brook Park for 38 years. Bill enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, hunting and was noted for his beautiful vegetable garden. He loved to visit casinos and dabble in the stock market. Bill greatest joy was his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife- Della (nee Ingram), married 51 years, children- Angelia (Alex) Nadiak, Anthony (Carrie) and Joseph (Bailey). Grandchildren- Samantha, Matthew, Nicholas and Ellis. Brother of Rocky & Bernie Dangelo, Sharon Archer and Beverly Dobson. Uncle to many. Preceded in death by his brother- Larry and sister Vicki Dangelo. Funeral Service- Weds. July 19, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City. Rev. Bert Ambrose, officiating. Visitation- Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 4:00-8:00- PM at the funeral home Burial- Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Valley City. In lieu of flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to the Valley City VFW Post #5563 or to the Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
