Raymond A. Malik

December 12, 1928 - July 26, 2017

Raymond A. Malik, 88, of Aurora, CO, passed away July 26, 2017. He was born December 12, 1928 in North Royalton, Ohio to the late Leo and Theresa (nee Janovick) Malik. He resided in Columbia Station until 2000 when he and his wife moved to Colorado to be near to their children and grandchildren. Ray was active in his community serving as Columbia Township Trustee and on he had been a member of the Columbia Township Zoning Board. Ray grew up on a working farm in Columbia Station and he built the first detasseling machine for the production of seed corn that carried seven people. Ray retired after 17 years as manager of Medina Landmark. He was also a gifted electrician. Ray is survived by his wife Mary Jane (nee Conrad), married 64 years. Son- Alan Malik (wife) Gayle; daughter-in-law, LuAnn Malik; six grandchildren; Brother- Ralph Malik and sister- Ruth Zurkan. He was preceded in death by sons, John and Robert Malik; daughter- Pamela Malik.
