Lula Jean Naylor

August 30, 1939 - April 2, 2018

Lula Jean Naylor, 78, of Medina passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2018. Jean was born August 30, 1939 in Mabie, West Virginia to the late Franklin and Elsie (nee Wiseman) Haney. Jean graduated from Midview High School and has resided in Medina County for many years. Jean was a member of Litchfield Baptist Church, where she was the social kitchen coordinator for various events, VBS, potlucks and funeral dinners. She was also a member of the Willing Hands of the church. Jean had worked at the former Dolly Madison/Smucker Pickle plant in Medina prior to raising her family. She was a member of the Medina County Rabbit Club and enjoyed raising rabbits. Jean was a 4-H advisor and had been involved in PTA when her daughter was in school. Jean was noted for her talent of cooking, working in her flower gardens and her great love for animals big or small. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Bobby, married 45 years, cherished daughter- Crystal Naylor. An aunt- Effie Mae Lantz, brothers-in-law: Kenneth Rowan and Robert Morris; sister-in-law: Evelyn Pappas and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sisters- Joann Naylor and Joan Rowan. Funeral Service- 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, OH Rev. John Smith, officiating. Calling hours- Friday, April 6, 2018, 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial- Litchfield Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to the Litchfield Baptist Church.
