Steven W. Naylor

December 30, 1960 - July 18, 2018

Steven W. Naylor, age 57, formerly of Litchfield, passed away July 18, 2018 in Henderson, NV Steve resided in Litchfield until 2008, then moved to Henderson, NV. In 2010, he met the love of his life Hazel, they were married in 2013. Steve was a 1979 graduate of Buckeye High School. He had worked at the former Smucker Pickle Plant, Medina, Invacare, Elyria, Miller Cab, Wooster and David Neely, Attorney at Law in Henderson, NV. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, whether going to dinner, watching a movie or reminiscing about the old times and memories made. When he would get together with his buddies, Bill Scandlon, Steve Tucker and Wayne Wolfe they had many stories and great memories. He was an avid card player and enjoyed playing with dear friends Mitch and Linda. He spent many days and nights fishing at local lakes. He especially loved outings spent with his Uncle Mike. He loved to travel with his friend of more than 30 years, Dave Neely. Steve enjoyed attending Formula One races and he loved his Cleveland sports teams. His love for country bluegrass and gospel music brought him to connect with many musicians. He had a close bond with Neal McCoy and the Oak Ridge Boys. Steve will be greatly missed by his wife, Hazel and his four- legged children- Boxer and Jetta. Brother- Robert (Tammy) Naylor of Columbia, Maryland and sister- Kim Naylor of Litchfield. Three nieces- Jaimee, Julie and Rebecca. His in-laws- Alexander & Vilma Maambong,of the Philippines and Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by Ellsworth "Bus" and Dorley "Joann" (nee Haney) Naylor. Calling hours- Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City. Funeral Service- 11:00 AM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Litchfield Baptist Church, 4022 Avon Lake Road Litchfield, OH Pastors John Smith and Greg Rowan, officiating. Burial- Litchfield Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested if desired to be made to the family to help defray the final expenses incurred.
