Christopher J. Graf, 38, of Lodi, Ohio went to his heavenly home on Monday, January 7, 2019. Chris was born in Cleveland on December 18, 1980 and grew up in Valley City. Chris was a 1999 graduate of Buckeye High School and a 2004 graduate of Kent State University with Bachelor degree in Business. Chris has had an enormous impact on the veterinary industry, starting with Purina and most recently with Elanco Animal Health. Chris was very well respected and loved by all he came in contact with. Chris was an avid angler and a semi- professional bass fisherman. He was quite a talented woodworker and enjoyed hunting in the winter. “Few people carry the passion that Chris had for everything he did- family, work and the outdoors”. Chris was the beloved husband of 6 years to Maria and cherished father of Jacob (3) and Jonathan (1); beautiful son of Robert, Jr. and Corinne, dedicated “Bro”to Jonathan (Dawn), awesome uncle of Trace & Mason, son-in-law of James & Tina Cotopolis and brother- in- law of Christopher (Morgan) Cotopolis, uncle of Gus & Goldie. Grandson of Catherine and the late Alvin Beduhn and the late Robert, Sr. and Dorothy Graf. Chris is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and he was an awesome friend to many. Celebration of Life Service- 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church 2233 Abbeyville Road Valley City, OH. Pastor Jim Watson, officiating. There will be no calling hours. The family will receive friends during a fellowship time following the service on Saturday in the church gathering area. In lieu of flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to Kent State University Bass Fishing Club, 1604 Athena Dr. Kent, Ohio 44240. The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving the Graf family.
