Donna Jean (Hawkins) Chaw

Donna Jean Chaw, 59, of Seville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at her home.

Donna was born June 15, 1964 in Medina, Ohio to the late Robert and Patricia (Layfield) Hawkins.  She had lived in Brunswick for many years and was a 1982 graduate of Brunswick High School.

Donna had worked as a nurse’s aid in the home health field for several year. Lastly, she worked as a manager for Sally Beauty Supply in Medina, Ohio.

She enjoyed sewing, coloring and spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ernest (Sherm) Chaw, married for 38 years, her children, Salina (Dean) Mills and Brandon (Jamie) Chaw, her grandchildren, Makayla, Anna and Connor and her brothers, Roger and David Hawkins.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering to be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the

Bauer Funeral Home2089 Columbia Road, Valley City, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or any animal shelters.
