Eileen C. Fricke, 101, formerly of Columbia Station, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Eileen was born on January 18, 1923 in Valley City, Ohio to John and Emma (nee Walter) Wirkner. Eileen was a loving wife to Albert C. Fricke for 61 years. Mother to William (Leslie), Edward (Cheryl), Marie and Don (Jamie); Grandmother to Thad (Lisa), Emiline (Jeff), Taylor, Hudson (Carolina), Brad (Robyn), Ryan (Tarah), Ashley (Justin), Paul (Rachel), and Tanner (Angelica) and sixteen great grandchildren.

Eileen was a longtime resident of Columbia Station and a founding member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She had a wonderful celebration of her 100th birthday in January of 2023 with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, daughter Marie Escobar, sisters Lucille Vasel and Agnes Zaremba and a brother Joseph Wirkner.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am, Friday, February 16, 2023 in St. Martin of Tours Chapel, 1800 Station Road Valley City, OH. Rev. Charles Ryba, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Columbia Station.
