Marcella ‘Marcie’ (Richards) Yergin, 60 of the Medina/Cleveland, Ohio area, passed away February 26, 2026 in Barberton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Fayette ‘Andy’ Richards and Nellie ‘Pearl’ (Crites) Richards. Marcie was a bold, vivacious, incredible person and most certainly a force to be reckoned with who loved her friends and family dearly.
She is survived by four children, Jashana, Kylee, Kyle, and Brent and grandson, Zackary. Her two sisters, Debra (Richards) Hinkel, Andrea (Richards) Kolodny and a niece Tiffany. She is also survived by a ‘special man friend’ Jeffrey R. Drogell. Marcie
Loved to cook for her family. She was an avid lover of all things scented ‘smelly goods’, witchy, spooky, and sparkly. If it didn’t sparkle, she couldn’t wait to add a bit of her flair to it and would always figure some way to bedazzle it. Recently, she had started to dabble in arts and crafts and really was enjoying diamond art paintings. She loved collecting vintage glassware and rock/crystals of all types. You could always count on her to be ready to help you ransack a thrift rain or shine.
But her true love was her most prized possession ‘Sunshine’ a 2003 bright yellow Ford Mustang.
In our time of grieving, we think our mom would want us to be sharing good memories and enjoying gut clenching laughter.
Mom, we love you and miss you so much.
