Doris E. Bailey Dean, 85, of Brunswick, OH passed into her heavenly home on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Doris was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 9, 1931 to the late Fred and Mildred (nee Petchler) Gall. She has resided her entire life in Brunswick. Doris was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Valley City. She worked as a waitress for many years at the former Valley Forge Golf Course at the Clubhouse, Valley City, Kenny Kings, Brunswick and Honey Bakes Ham, Strongsville. Doris enjoyed traveling, gardening, camping with her family and collecting antiques. She was an avid Cleveland Indian’s fan, traveling many times to watch them at spring practice in Winter Haven, FL. She will be greatly missed by her sons- Rick Bailey, Jeff (Grace) Bailey and Brian (Lisa) Bailey, all of Brunswick. Grandchildren- Valerie (Justin) Kocisko, their children- Benjamin and Bruce; Eric (Sheri) Bailey, their son- Blake; Patrick Turner (fiancé- Caitlynn McPhee); Angela Bailey; Sara and Mychael Bailey. Brother- Alan Gall of Brunswick. Very Best friend- Mike Petro of Brunswick. Preceded in death by her first husband- Ralph Bailey, 1973 and second husband- Max Dean in 2004. Brothers- Ron Gall, 2015 and Jerry Gall, 2015. Celebration of Life Service- Friday, July 8, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1377 Lester Road Valley City, OH Rev. Philip Zielinski, officiating. Inurnment will follow the service in St. Paul Church Cemetery, Valley City. In lieu of flowers- The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Valley City. The Bauer Funeral Home, Valley City has the honor of serving the Bailey family.
