Understanding When Needed Most
Randall L. Miles, 79, of Valley City, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home. Randy was born October 5, 1939 in Cleveland to the late Victor and Lorraine (nee Kohlman) Miles. He had resided in Cuyahoga County prior to moving to Valley City in 1981. Randy was a U.S. Army veteran. He had worked as a lineman with Cleveland Electric Illuminating Co. for 30 years. Randy was a guy that was always building, fixing and helping others. He was involved in Bullmastiff Rescue and had therapy dogs that would make visits to hospitals, nursing home and also the library. He will be greatly missed by his family and a host of caring friends. His wife Karen, of 37 years. Daughters- Paula (Bob) Lyons, Lana (Bill) Jenkins, grandchildren- Andrew & Paul Brown; Will Jenkins Seven nephews and five nieces. Preceded in death by a brother- Gary Miles. Following Randy’s request, there will be NO visitation and cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested if desired to the American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Service, c/o Virginia Rowland, P.
